This unique residential project is located in historic downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. Our clients desired a showcase home that would contribute to the revitalization of this urban neighborhood where they have been long-term residents and community advocates.
North of downtown Las Vegas, a three-story building rises from the ground to create 51 new residences centered around a common amenities core and clubhouse space.
The project desires to raise the bar for both the neighborhood and local families calling “Ascenso“ home.
A patchwork of bright hues adorn the balcony railings giving each unit a unique stamp of personal identity. The roofline’s gently sloped parapet feature captures the essence of reaching for a higher standard.
Ascent. Rise. Ascenso.

Inspired by the movie fightclub, this project poses the question: what happens between the sub and supraliminal states of consciousness? Programatically consisting of an existing market, residential lofts, an independent movie theater and art gallery, the site organizes use from mundane to abstract. Colors are used to move from chaos to clarity.
